Bucking the Trend

The summer property market which traditionally can be a quieter period in the school holidays has - this year - exceeded all expectations with far more viewings arranged, sales agreed and property coming on to the market. Whilst there is no rhyme or reason to this, Geoffrey Clapp Associates are exceptionally busy and feel that this will continue in to the autumn quarter. Confidence remains good although sensible pricing is still the order of the day. There are many good sales being agreed and lots of first time buyers are very active at the moment.

"We are actively looking for more property in the area to sell this Autumn." says Martyn Coombes, senior valuer. The demand for property from away buyers remains unabated, with Rightmove and Zoopla providing the lions share of enquiries.
